Hey y’all! This month’s TBR is very very short, because that’s just where I’m at. It’s totally possible that I’ll read more than these, but I’m not looking ahead too much. Anyway, here are the 4 books I’m planning on reading/finishing.

September’s Books

The North Wind by Alexandria Warwick –
I splurged on a gorgeous physical copy and have been slowly making my way through
The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo –
Continuing my buddy read with Nicole 😊
Take It From Me by Jamie Beck –
an ARC I’m really excited about ^.^
City of Bones by Clarissa Clare –
a re-read I’m looking forward to as I just picked up a new set of the series at a library book sale. I’m not sure I’ll ever get my old set back, so I’m delighted to have a new one of this series I really enjoyed.

Take It From Me looks really cute and I hope you enjoy that ARC! I’m also very curious about Ghost Bride. I’ve got one book by this author on my TBR and I’m looking forward to reading it (hopefully this year lol)! Have a great month of reading in September 🙂

Ghost Bride has been fascinating because I didn’t know a ton going in and it’s a really moody book. Good for a rainy October day, kind of book. I only recently realized The Night Tiger is by the same author which I have on my TBR too! (Assuming that’s the one you mention)

The Ghost Bride really is a very moody book, isn’t it? And I’m glad that you also seem to be enjoying a leisurely read of it… I find that I want to read that book in small doses so that I feel like I am properly enjoying it.

Very much so! There’s so much that I like to just sit with and think about in this book, trying to puzzle it out and just imagining the locations. There’s so much description, it seems like the author must also be an artist because it seems as though they drew out a lot of it and described based on the images as a reminder. They’re so vivid to me

Yes, agreed. The images are very vivid. (I want to smack a few of the characters, though. 😉 )
