Hey y’all! Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish question idea that was originally created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, from way back in June 2010! Since January 2018, Top Ten Tuesday has been hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Thanks for taking it over! The idea is to make a list of ten books or bookish things on different topics each week. Check out her site for details on how to join and what the upcoming prompts are. 😊 You can also see all the posts from other bloggers linked on each weekly post on their main site.
This week’s prompt is books I’m excited for that are releasing sometime in the rest of 2022. I’m taking a different approach with this week’s prompt and instead of making my own list, I’m looking at what others have posted for today’s prompt and picking new-to-me books from THEIR list that I think look good. I’ve only heard of one or two of the ones on my list below, but I’m so excited to have all of them added! Thanks y’all! 🥰
There’s not much book info here — sorry, I’m super tired today lol — but the cover links to the blog where I found it, and the name of the blog is included (and also linked).

Bonus: books I saw on a lot of lists!
Seriously, of all the ones I looked at, probably 60% had Babel, and almost all of them had at least one of the below!

I love how you approached this week’s topic! So fun!

LOVE how you did today’s topic!! I’ve seen a lot of those on lists today too. I’m so intrigued by Butts. I added to my TBR! haha.

Great idea! One of my favorite things about TTT is all the reading ideas I get from other people’s blogs. It’s amazing how many different books everyone manages to come up with.
Happy TTT!

It’s fabulous! Collectively, we must have SOOO much content for reference. Is there any question we haven’t answered? haha

Seasparrow made my list as well. I also want to read Two Wrongs Make a Right. I love how you crowdsourced your list. 😀

I’ve definitely spotted Love on the Brain and Babel on a lot of lists this week too.

I love your twist for this week’s prompt! I think I’m gonna save this idea for when I’m not feeling inspired by another TTT topic 😂 If you do pick up Chloe Liese’ book, I hope you enjoy it! I’m so incredibly excited for it 😍 Also, Babel, Love on the Brain and Carrie Soto were definitely the titles I saw the most on other people’s lists this week, lol. I’m looking forward to them too!

Honestly, I’ve wanted to find a way to sort of analyze what common books pop up in each week’s TTT, but it would mean having to anaylze and write the post all at the end of every Tuesday, which sounds really tight for time. I’m so happy I finally got to do one though! Very helpful to create new content using everyone else’s on a tiring day haha and hopefully some folks found new blogs this way too 🙂

This is a great way to do this topic! I, surprisingly, had none of the books you mentioned at the end on my list. But I DO have Well Traveled on there, so maybe it evens out?

Sounds like I should head to your post for more new options 😁

So many good books coming out this year! We have quite a few matches. I can also confirm that Carrie Soto is Back is well worth the read.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t even read the blub, or if I did I forgot. I think it’s about sports (maybe boxing?) and between that and just seeing it everywhere I was kind of turned off. Maybe I’ll try in a few months when they hype might have died down haha

This was a great way to handle this week’s prompt! Thanks for linking back to my post—though honestly, with as many books as I included, I’m surprised none of the ones on your “most seen” list were on my post! LOL

I WAS TOO! But I appreciated that bunches, as it gave me lots of new titles to add and pick from 🙂 There’s not often a lot of MG in people’s lists but they can have some really sweet titles. I liked Esme’s Wish a good bit!

LOL! 🙂 I do love being able to find good new MG books to include. If nothing else, I’m super happy that today’s kids have book options that I didn’t when I was the target audience for MG.
