Hey y’all! Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish question idea that was originally created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, from way back in June 2010! Since January 2018, Top Ten Tuesday has been hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Thanks for taking it over! The idea is to make a list of ten books or bookish things on different topics each week. Check out her site for details on how to join and what the upcoming prompts are. 😊
This week’s prompt is a freebie for folks to come up with their own. I’m extremely tired, but I wanted to get one out there. So today I’m looking at books that are written by an author with the name “Jennifer” to see who I’ve read and want to read! My name is also Jennifer, and I feel a small kinship whenever I read a great book by someone also named Jennifer. 🙂

Jennifer Weiner – Big Summer
Come on, she’s a hit. Not only does she have a memorable name, but she’s churning out those fabulous books like no one’s business!

Jennifer Anne Davis – The Key
One of my absolutely favorite series’ I’ve stumbled on! I re-read this one any time I’m in a rut and need something I know I’ll enjoy.

Jennifer A Nielsen – The Traitor’s Game
I think this book taught me what an ARC was when I found it secondhand at a used bookstore years after it had been published. Game changer, plus a good story!

Jennifer Ziegler – How Not to be Popular
I adored this book when I read it as an early teen, and I still think about it sometimes years later. No idea if I would still like it, but I like my memory of it. 🙂

Jennifer Niven – Holding Up the Universe
I got this one through the Kellog’s reading program and had never heard of it. It’s still on my shelf… whoops…

Jennifer Moffett – Those Who Prey
One of the creepy-style Jennifers, this has cults, college, travel, and murder. WHO’S IN??

Jennifer Finney Boylan – Good Boy
A fast forward Friday pick and on my month’s TBR!

Jennifer L Armentrout – From Blood and Ash
Another big-name Jennifer, but for the YA world this time. I still haven’t read anything by her yet but I’m sure it’s inevitable.

Jennifer Yen – Love, Decoded
SWOON. Asian rep, coding, friends to lovers, matchmaking, accidental scandal… uh, YUP.

Jennifer DeLeon – Don’t Ask Me Where I’m From
Another fast forward Friday pick, and a look at segregation and racism.

Haha! This is really fun. I should look up authors with my name but I bet there’s a small list because it’s not as common.
My Top Ten!

What a cute idea for a prompt! My list wouldn’t be as long unfortunately haha! I love Jennifer Weiner, I enjoyed most of her books I have read.

I just checked and I only have 2 Brittany authors on my tbr as well! I wouldn’t have thought it’d be such a rare name. I guess mine was really easy. xD I DID find a book called “The Brittanys” by Brittany Ackerman, though with 5 characters named Brittany, which could have all the Brittany’s you’ll need! 😁

Fun! You should submit this idea for a future TTT prompt. I’ve enjoyed several of Nielsen’s books. The other Jennifer whose books I enjoy is Jennifer Donnelly.
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!

Ooh, what a fun and original choice of topic, Jennifer! I love it 😍 I’ve heard of and read a few of these authors, namely JLA and Weiner but I’m really curious now about de Leon and Yen cos both those book covers are stunning!

YES RIGHT? Sometimes YA covers have sooo much color and vibrancy they get to work with that I don’t see as much in adult novels.

On it! I feel like I’ve heard her name before at least, so I might have just missed her books somehow
