Hey y’all! I’m planning out my reads for July, and most of them are already started or at least in hand and ready to be started shortly. I’m so excited for these ones!

Fast Forward Friday reads
Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean
I’m always up for traveling somewhere in a book. Plus royalty and court life is my weakness that I just can’t resist 🥰 My library hold just came in, so I’ll be starting this one shortly for sure!
For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten
I love a good retelling with a twist, and this one had all the elements that promised to be just that! It didn’t hurt that my friend Abby recently finished this and highly recommended it!
Early Copies
Replenishing the Sea of Galilee by Wagih Abu-Rish
I won this from a Goodreads Giveaway and I’m so glad I did! This book is planned to be published on July 20, 2021, so you won’t have to wait too long either if the idea of a historical love story starting in Palestine and spanning continents and decades sounds enticing. 🥰
56 days by Catherine Ryan Howard
Okay, admittedly, I chose this book as my BOTM reluctantly because it sounded the least bad of the month’s options. HOWEVER, since then, I’ve gotten more excited about it than I originally was. Learning more about the plot and seeing some of the other kinds of works the author has done has me feeling a little more optimistic about this one. Hopefully my first impression was wrong! Planned release in the US is August 17, 2021.
Other things I love, in book form

The Complete List Of Jericho by Chris Jericho
Well if you haven’t heard already (even though I’ve been talking about this book a lot), this book is by Chris Jericho, a crazy popular and talented professional wrestler. For his 30th career anniversary, he put together this book of every match he’s ever had (so far) with stories, photos, and bonus lists from himself and the folks he’s worked with over the decades. I AM 100% LOVING IT. 🥰
World of Warcraft: Chronicle, Volume 1 by Blizzard Entertainment
Ohhhhhh, boy. Just in time for the 9.1 patch in retail, this book was perfectly timed for me to start reading. In the first few chapters, I learned about Helya’s origins — which were then pretty frickin’ integral to part of the intro questline for the new zones! It’s also just awesome to get the condensed full story, from the VERY beginning of everything. I can’t wait to read some of the novels about these moments in the lore as well, because dang I bet they’re epic. And I can’t forget to mention the art in this, because it is stunning to have it in the large format full page spreads. 🥰

That’s the plan for July! We’ll see how closely I stick to it, but since I’m so excited for most of these, I think they’ll probably all be done sooner rather than later. 😊

good luck with your tbr!! for the wolf sounds awesome!
