How many books that I planned did I read?
I’m pretty sure I had basically no plan for February, really, because I knew exactly how busy I would be. I ended up reading 9 total, but several were short reads of comics or maps and other short formats. Though, granted, 3 were also 450+ so it probably evened out.
The Plan:

The Result:

So February started off with no plan at all, in part because I had a feeling about how the month would go. I ended up reading two Fast Forward Friday books that I had been excited about, If I Tell you the Truth and Love in English. I had put those on hold at the library for when they released, so those were like little gifts from past-me. Other than that, it was mostly comics and short visual-heavy things, because I barely read at all this month. In all honesty, I barely did anything besides work at work and work at the house.

~life

Alright y’all, life was the biggie this month. It was the shortest month with the biggest change: I FINALLY MOVED. OH MY GOD. The house still isn’t quite done, but we were able to move in (unique circumstances) and we’re finally here and mostly unpacked and holy crap is it a relief. One huge step down. It’s all downhill from here, baby. (But like, in a good way.)
That was pretty much the extreme focus of the month. But I did also have really really delicious chicken Parmesan at one point, so that was a highlight too. ^.^

Of course… with everything life-related going on, I barely read and blogged even less. Which sucks, because I love this blog and I love writing for it but every day was so long and tiring that there was just no time or energy most days. I tried to do at least the Fast Forward Fridays, because I love to support the new releases. It was not a pretty month for consistency. Thankfully, I still cracked my standard view goal, which was really nice. And what progress that alone shows! I posted so much less (and so much lower quality) and still managed something that just a few months ago was a stretch goal that seemed impossible. Thanks to every single one who happens to read this. Now just say hello, and I’ll REALLY be happy. ^.^ Chatting is the ultimate goal!
Here are some of my favorite posts I worked on this month, in case you missed them!
- 3 books I already gave up on this year (if this isn’t indicative of how this month went, I don’t know what is 🤣)
- Giving “My Year Abroad” by Chang-rae Lee a shot! (then followed by How it’s going)
- In progress with THE UNSPOKEN NAME
And here are some of my favorite posts by other bloggers! (and depressingly, basically the only posts I had time to read this month. :l )
- ARC Review: The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi by dinipanda @ dinipandareads
- Lots of little things by Jenny Lawson @ The Bloggess
- Book Beginnings On Fridays and The Friday 56 by The Bookish Kitten

Thanks for sharing my review! ❤️ Yay for finally moving! It can be stressful enough during normal times but during a pandemic, it’s even more stressful (totally been there last year when I moved too lol)! At least you’re done with a big chunk of it though 😊 I hope you have a great March and are able to read (and blog!) more too!

Phew, right? Moving is tough but now that it’s over and I’m here, it’s easy to say it was worth it haha. I hope the same, thank you! ^.^

Thanks for writing it ^.^ Love In English was definitely a cute quick read. That’s about all I have time for lately, it feels like, but yes, hopefully that will change soon! ✌🎉
