Words have always carried more weight with me than images – give me a book over its movie any day – but I do love to see the beautiful images other people create when they’re in love with a book. That’s not my strength, but I can certainly appreciate it in others! So here’s a few of my faves based on what I’ve been reading recently.
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill
How has it taken me so long to actually read this? I’m about five pages away from done and I’ve laughed enough to last me through the dark-too-early days of winter in New England. I must say I’m disappointed no one recreated the cover yet – that I found – but there are still some lovely photos out there. 😊
The pattern behind it is mesmerizing…
Cozy, cozy! Add a cat and Nina would approve.
The Bromance Book Club
This one had been on my list for a while before my friend and I were both able to get copies for a buddy read. Another one that made me laugh! I need more of those, especially in winter. 😊
Ahhh, someone who was able to wrangle a hairy-armed man into posing with the book. Face not included – for shy anonymity like our characters, perhaps?
I think the precarious setup here is what I like best. How did they keep it from falling? Or WAS it falling, and they just took the picture really quickly?
And the classic cover remake! Had to have at least one, right?
And so…
One done, one reeeeally close to being done… and one also shamefully still un-reviewed. Whoops! Thanks to everyone who puts their time not only into writing and reading these fantastic stories, but into creating new shareable art for everyone inspired by them. ✊🏽
