So yesterday I was questioning how to give books as gifts to people who don’t typically read much, and noted that I got The Batman Who Laughs for my boyfriend. He’ll read occasionally, but it’s not a big passion of his.
Luckily, it went well! He seemed interested (and not just from pity), and maybe also seemed a little relieved when he saw it was a comic/graphic novel and not full text! I’m glad I gave it a shot.
Aaaaaaand of course he did a very good job and got me some books I’ve been wanting to read this year! He did some impressive sleuthing to find me on goodreads and then go through my list of 392 books on my want-to-read list to pick out 3 really excellent choices. #WhenYouKnowItsRight 🥰
